Cara Thompson

Digital and film photographer currently based in Northern California.

Cara started taking pictures in her teenage years, and uses her photography as a sort of visual diary. Over the years, Cara has developed an eye for color and line, finding beauty in the most mundane subjects, studying their relation to the world at large.

She uses her photos as references for other visual art projects, from gathering color palettes to staging scenes to later be painted or drawn. You'll always find her with a camera not too far out of reach.
